vCom is currently seeking a Circuit Provisioner (CP) who is responsible for ordering various voice and data services with providers using different ordering tools such as email, phone calls, web portal, etc. based on each carrier.  The CP will act as the order liaison between the vCom Project Coordination Team and our carriers, updating our internal ordering systems with order status, due dates and billing information.  The CP must maintain accurate order notes, document any carrier escalations and update all appropriate fields within the vCom database.


 

 

What you’ll do…

  • Prepare, submit and manage carrier Add, Move, Change, and Disconnect orders for Data (including DS-1, DS-3, xDSL, P2P, MPLS, Ethernet over Copper, DS1 and fiber) and Voice (including SIP and IVAD) technologies
  • Remotely troubleshoot customer premise equipment and networking issues, including routing, bandwidth utilization, latency, DNS, and other network access problems
  • Coordinate new service and activation dates with internal teams, customers and vendors
  • Ensure all client milestones and deliverables are met in a timely manner
  • Drive escalations with the carriers, to ensure timely resolution and service restoral
  • Maintain internal tracking systems with up-to-date milestones for orders, which will be reviewed weekly
  • Some after-hours and weekend coverage

 

What you bring…

  • 2+ years of carrier provisioning and ordering experience in telecommunication technologies and carrier configurations for Data Connectivity (Internet T1s, private lines and MPLS).  Knowledge of MPLS, VPLS, OC3, Ethernet over copper, DS1 and fiber.  VPN knowledge a plus.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience with various carriers, including facilities-based and non-facilities-based ISPs, CLECs, and ILECs; experience with large/national connectivity providers preferred
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of networking essentials, including LAN/WAN, routing and networking protocols, DNS, TCP/IP, networking hardware and Internet services
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with performing basic router configuration and troubleshooting, including Internet, private lines and MPLS
  • Experience in VoIP, SIP trunking and TDM voice services a plus
  • Demonstrated experience with the various layers of a carrier’s infrastructure and services, from customer premise equipment to provider edge
  • Organized, resourceful, with high learning aptitude, and initiative

SDWAN Technical Sales Expert

What You’ll Do:

  • Engage with existing customers and drive revenue associated to SDWAN Technologies
  • Partner with the Account Executive Team and other members of the Technical Solutions Group to develop a complete technology roadmap for every vCom customer
  • Develop deep relationships with existing customer IT and Finance Teams
  • Drive brand and model awareness with existing customers
  • Drive new product concepts to customers with a focus on adoption

JOB DESCRIPTION

New business growth is the focus. This person has experience working with senior IT and Finance professionals, as well as others in the hierarchy who are part of the process.  In order to be successful, relationship building skills are essential to successfully engage with prospects, customers, as well as the internal teams within vCom Solutions.

Candidates must have proven success in developing sales opportunities, and successfully closing business. Candidates must become passionate about the benefits vCom delivers and leverage solution selling skills in securing deals. Clear and confident communications skills are required for telephone, written and face-to-face settings. Candidates must have the ability to represent vCom with integrity and trustworthiness, while persuasively selling the benefits of industry leading IT Lifecycle Management solutions. Candidates must show that they have the ability to overcome objections. You will be focused on selling solutions that deliver a clear and demonstrable ROI.

Candidates must have a solid network of business contacts and be comfortable leveraging those existing relationships while also generating leads, qualifying prospects, selling solutions and closing complex sales opportunities. This person will work closely with the Account Executive Team, the Technology Solutions Group and the Customer Success Team.

 

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting to close.  You will be supported by an experienced marketing and business development team.
  • Lead Generation/outbound calling and warm lead follow up.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Present and articulate the value of IT Lifecycle Management and managing the various buckets of IT spend (Network, Mobile, Collaboration and Cloud).
  • Develop sales pipeline and revenue forecasts.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly sales quotas.
  • Develop effective sales strategies
  • Deliver sales presentations and demonstrations
  • Manage and develop assigned industry verticals
  • Create proposals and respond to RFP’s

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive experience in Software or SaaS sales.
  • Experience with Managed Services sales.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.
  • Experience in closing deals in the $250K – $3M range.
  • Excellent communications capabilities.

The Software Adoption Specialist (SAS) is responsible for developing and maintaining vCom Solutions’ corporate vManager training program.  The SAS helps determine training objectives; facilitates training with customer contacts; coordinates training with SMEs; schedules training classes; and oversees the vManager Certification Program and monthly webinar series.  The SAS is focused on training customers to recognize the value of the software and demonstrate how it can serve as a critical business tool in managing their technology environment.

 

Customer Adoption, Education and Utilization of the vManager Software Platform

 

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborates with vCom Solutions’ SMEs to define training course content and identify examination and certification requirements
  • Oversees vManager certification program, which includes both customers and vCom team members
  • Teaches vManager software products and features to employees
  • Establishes and implements standardized training, testing and certification programs
  • Works with Account Teams as part of the on-boarding process to ensure all contacts are trained on vManager, with an emphasis on ensuring the training is customized to their role and needs
  • Develops student evaluation criteria and materials; administers the examination processes
  • Facilitates monthly webinars, with a focus on identifying training opportunities and / or under-utilized portions of vManager
  • Monitors overall customer utilization of the software and tracks logins / adoption in relation to efforts
  • Records vManager training videos for library and works closely with IT to ensure all videos and associated content in vCom University section of vManager is current
  • Maintains inventory of training materials in anticipation of future training requirements
  • Participates in cross-functional teams with SMEs and Product Specialists to review and ensure accuracy of documentation
  • Works with IT to drive customer enhancements, keeping a strategic eye out for opportunities to improve the platform; retains a focus on usability and customer feedback
  • Performs and coordinates special projects as assigned by the VP of Customer Experience and IT department related to vManager training and adoption
