    In your first month, you’ll:

    • Get to know vCom’s executive leadership team
    • Support all internal event planning
    • Develop an understanding of internal systems

    In your first 3 months, you’ll:

    • Get to know the vCom teams, build rapport
    • Begin supporting external company events
    • Gain an understanding of travel and expense systems (Concur)
    • Acclimate to vCom’s culture

    In your first 6 months, you’ll:

    • Partner with HR team to plan and execute annual all-company employee summit
    • Conduct new hire orientations covering vCom’s travel and expense processes/systems
    • Participate in special projects
    • Suggest innovative enhancements to support ongoing improvements

    What you’ll do:

    • Event Planning, including monthly lunches and happy hours and other major events throughout the year
    • Executive Support (expense reports, travel arrangements, meeting logistics)
    • New hire onboarding for travel and expense processes and systems
    • Ongoing meeting set-up, including room configuration, as needed
    • Back-up admin with administrative duties as requested (such as, but not limited to picking up lunch for team meetings)
    • Manage vCom’s philanthropic programs (Junior Achievement, Food Bank, Toys for Tots, and more)
    • Support management team with monthly meeting set up
    • Review incoming emails, instant messages, phone calls, voicemails, etc., and provide timely (same-day) responses

    • Strong PC skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and general knowledge of database software applications
    • BA/BS Degree, or equivalent

    It’s also helpful if you’ve got:

    • 1+ years of event planning and general administrative duties
    • Experience supporting individuals with strong personalities
    • Knowledge of soft phone systems (ex. RingCentral); answering and transferring calls
    • Knowledge with office equipment and maintenance: printers, fax, scanning, mail machine, shredder, projector equipment

    Compensation:

    $45-50k annually, based on experience

    • Ongoing evolution to projects of higher complexity and opportunities to gain exposure to Corporate Marketing

    The Selection Process

    • After submitting a resume, qualified candidates will be invited to complete two separate assessments
    • Once the assessments are completed, candidates will participate in a pre-screening phone screen with Human Resources
    • A select group of candidates will be interviewed (rounds of interviews may include the team, Director of HR, and vCom’s CEO)
